Given circuit is

We can redraw the circuit as

Let current through $20 \Omega$ resistor is $I_2$, then

$V_{A B}=0.1(25+15)=I_2 \times 20$

or $I_2=\frac{0.1 \times 40}{20}=0.2 \,A$

So, by Kirchhoff's junction rule, current through $8 \,\Omega$ resistance is $I=0.1+0.2=0.3 \,A$
