Add the following expression:
$p^2-7 p q-q^2$ and $-3 p^2-2 p q+7 q^2$

Answer

We have,
$p^2-7 p q-q^2+\left(-3 p^2-2 p q+7 q^2\right)$
$=p^2-7 p q-q^2-3 p^2-2 p q+7 q^2$
On combining the like terms.
$=p^2-3 p^2-7 p q-2 p q-q^2+7 q^2=-2 q^2-9 p q+6 q^2$
