For parallel resistance $ \begin{aligned} & \frac{1}{ R }=\frac{1}{12}+\frac{1}{6}+\frac{1}{4}=\frac{1+2+3}{12}=\frac{6}{12} \\ & R =2 \Omega \end{aligned} $ Now all resistances are in series $ R=2+2+5=9 \Omega $
