Decide whether the following equation is quadratic equation or not. : $y^2+\frac{1}{y}=2$

y^2+\frac{1}{y}=2 \\
\Rightarrow y^3+1=2 y \Rightarrow y^3-2 y+1
\end{array}$
$\therefore$ it is not a quadratic equation because it is not in the form of $ax ^2+ bc + c =0$
