Describe the following experiment with Diagram: To understand circular motion.

Apparatus — Materials: Stone, Piece of thread.
Procedure:
$(1)$ Take a small piece stone.
$(2)$ Tie it with a piece of thread.
$(3)$ Whirl the stone with your hand.
$(4)$ Observe the motion of the stone. Observation : We see that the stone moves along a circular path. In this motion, the distance of the stone from your hand remains the same. Conclusion : A stone tied to a thread when whirled executes circular motion.
