Addition polymers

  2. They are formed from unsaturated compounds.
  3. Example: Polyethene, polypropene.
Condensation polymers
  1. 1. They are formed by combining monomers together with the loss of small molecules like $H _2 O , NH _3, CO _2$ etc.
  2. Monomers have di or polyfunctional groups.
  3. Example: Nylon – 6, 6, Nylon – 6, Terylene.
