Explain the limitations of barter system.

There are three main limitations of barter system.
$(1)$ While exchanging the goods; person must have specific want of those goods which the other person offer in exchange.But there is no guarantee that such double co-incidence always be present.
$(2)$ Lack of a satisfactory means of storing value.
$(3)$ Problem of measurement of value with the of division of labour and specialization in an industry, and the issue of measuring the value of goods and services emerged.
