Explain the problem of drug addiction.

A study of the human lifestyles in every society in the world shows that in every society, in every age, people used substances that reduced the rate of depression, frustration and mental stress.
Man used to consume substances which bring a pleasant pleasure as well as substances which increase or decrease the feeling of happiness and sorrow.
The following five types of psychiatric effects are produced from the mental sensation of consuming these substances. The person consumes substances to get this effect.
The five types of psychiatric effects are as follows.
(1) Relief from pain.
 
(2) Decrease in unwanted and troublesome actions and emotions like anxiety, impatience, agitation, fatigue etc.
 
(2) Increase in strength and energy in the body and elimination of depression and insomnia.
 
(4) For the attainment of new consciousness and realization.
 
(5) To ease the workload from the head and to awaken the feeling of happiness forever.
 
Influenced by the illusory effects mentioned above, young people are addicted to drugs.
Prior to 1925, there were no restrictions on drug use.
The Geneva Drugs Convention of the United Nations in 1925 considered the dire consequences of drug addiction.
The United Nations has called on its member states to ban the sale and use of narcotics.
The United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) has launched a campaign to tackle the global problem of drug addiction.
As a result of this campaign, drug addiction is seen as a social problem in all countries of the world and efforts are being made to control and prevent this problem.
