Explain the provisions for Constitutional Amendments.

The provisions for the constitutional amendments are as follows
(1) A number of provisions in the constitution can be amended by two houses of the Union Parliament by the simple majority of the members present and voting.
(2) The specified provisions can be amended by the two Houses of the Union Parliament by two-thirds majority of the members present and voting, which should not be less than 50% of the total membership of the House.
(3) Very few but important provisions relating to the Union - State relations requires procedure give above at as well as consent of state s vidhan Sabha of more than 50% states.
