Prejudice are considered negatively, Prejudice can be reduced by true information, evidences, frank discussions, role play etc. In olden days, women had to look after family and do household work only. So people in those days believed that women did not need education. But in the present era, women enjoy an equal position with men. They are educated and self-employed. Slogans like "A daughter makes a home, "Save girl child" and "Who will marry your son, if there are no girls ?" have helped greatly to reduce prejudice towards girls.
