Whether a human child or animal, they obtain most of the learning by imitation or emulation. This type of
learning is called observational or social learning. The most important source for observation is emulation. An individual observes social environment around him and imitate it. For example: a child riding his tricycle at home just as his father does and while riding his tricycle, he pretends to fill petrol or inflate the tires of his tricycle etc.
