Find a number whose fifth part increased by $30$ is equal to its fourth part decreased by $30.$

Let the number be xAccording to the question,
$\frac{\text{x}}{5}+30=\frac{\text{x}}{4}-30$
$\frac{\text{x}}{5}-\frac{\text{x}}{4}=-30-30$
$\frac{4\text{x}-5\text{x}}{20}=-60$
$-x = -60 × 20$
$x = 1200$
Hence, the required number is$ 1200.$
