Following are the ways for a director to resign from his office : At any time any director who wants to vacate his office can give a notice of resignation in writing specifying reasons to the Board of Directors. He has to inform to Registrar of Company with a copy of resignation within 30 days of has his resignation. Company also has to informs to Registrar of company within the specified time. The Board of Directors should provides this information in their report at the Annual General Meeting. The resignation of a director comes into force from the date of resignation or date specffied in the notice. Resigned Director is responsible for his act during his tenure of his directorship.
