Landforms and people:
  1. High mountains can be barriers to communication but valleys are important trade routes.
  2. Volcanoes bring destruction yet produce very fertile soils.
  3. Plain areas are densely populated as they provide water, flat land for cultivation/settlements and various means of communication.
  4. Plateau areas are storehouse of minerals. So man and landforms are intimately related.
