Losing temper is a very bad habit and a very common human habit which very few people kno to control
Losing of temper thou being a natural phenomena in humans leads to heavy loss in person's life by mentally defeating the person's wits
In the chapter "The Proposal" too we see this human nature of being short temper. The girl Natalya and Lomov in short temperdness gets indulged into a big fight and debate between them on several petty topics like the ownership of land and comparisons of their pet dogs. Howver this lead to not only the loss of their wits but also decresing their bond of neighbour. Also their marriage too wasnt held properly due to the fight they were in because of their anger. Their short temperedness also made their marriage's base start with a fight even.
Hence one must not let his anger control him
To avoid this short tempered behaviour one must always keep his sole reason behind his work and shud nevr get far from it and also he must hav his calm in evry of his situation.
