(i) Find the average number of children in the classes.
(ii) Find the ratio of students of Class VI to the students of Class VIII.

Representation of number of students in different classes (from V to X).

(i) For average number of children,
The sum of given number of children
$
\begin{aligned}
=125+110+100+95+90+70=590 \\
\text { Average/Mean } =\frac{\text { Sum of osbervations }}{\text { Number of observations }} \\
=\frac{590}{6}=98.33=98
\end{aligned}
$
Hence, average number of children in each class is 98.
(ii) Ratio $=\frac{110}{95}=\frac{22}{19}$
Hence, ratio is $22: 19$.
