Passing through (3, 2) and parallel to the line x = 2 and y = 3.

Answer

Equations of the lines passing through (3, 2) and parallel to the lines x = 2 and y = 3 are x = 3 and y = 2.
i.e. x – 3 = 0 and y – 2 = 0
∴ their joint equation is
(x – 3)(y – 2) = 0
∴ xy – 2x – 3y + 6 = 0.
