People as Resource — Social Studies STD 9 — Question

People of a country are referred as a resource as they are the one who with their skills, entrepreneurship contribute to country's growth story. Having an educated and healthier population certainly contribute in the development of the country and will lead to the following:

1. Providing better education and training will develop more skilled and innovative workforce who can contribute in the growth of the economy.
2. Investment in the form of education will ensure good employment opportunities to the people who can not only raise their standard of living through earnings but also will contribute to the national income of the country.
3. Healthier population will contribute to the overall health of the country. Proper medical facilities will allow people to avail these facilities and can lead to healthy environment for them to flourish and develop.
4. Educated population will also be more aware of the leading a healthy life and will be more hygiene conscious who are likely to then teach the same to those who lack education.
5. Education will create vigilant and more aware citizens who can actively participate in the governance of the country.
