$2.4(3 - x) - 0.6(2x - 3) = 0 $
$\Rightarrow 7.2 - 2.4x - 1.2x + 1.8 = 0$
$ \Rightarrow -2.4x - 1.2x $
$= -(7.2 + 1.8)$
$L.H.S. $$= 2.4(3 - x) - 0.6(2x - 3) $
$\Rightarrow 2.4(3 - 2.5) - 0.6(2 \times 2.5 - 3) $
$\Rightarrow 2.4(0.5) - 0.6(5 - 3) $
$\Rightarrow 1.2 - 0.6 \times 2$
$ = 1.2 - 1.2$
$R.H.S. $ $= 0$ Hence $x = 2.5$
$\Rightarrow 7.2 - 2.4x - 1.2x + 1.8 = 0$
$ \Rightarrow -2.4x - 1.2x $
$= -(7.2 + 1.8)$
$L.H.S. $$= 2.4(3 - x) - 0.6(2x - 3) $
$\Rightarrow 2.4(3 - 2.5) - 0.6(2 \times 2.5 - 3) $
$\Rightarrow 2.4(0.5) - 0.6(5 - 3) $
$\Rightarrow 1.2 - 0.6 \times 2$
$ = 1.2 - 1.2$
$R.H.S. $ $= 0$ Hence $x = 2.5$
