Question
Solve the following quadratic equation.
$5 m^2+2 m+1=0$

Answer

$5 m^2+2 m+1=0 \text { compare with } ax ^2+ bx + c =0 $
$ \Rightarrow a =5, b=2 \text { and } c =1$
$ \therefore b ^2-4 ac =2^2-4(5)(1) $
$ =4-20 $
$ =-16$
Hence , roots are not real.
