Primitive man’s needs were limited to his food only but after industrial revolution, due to technological development and increase in population, the exploitation reached it’s climax.
Preservation of mineral resources is the demand of time because they are being exploited and over used.
There is need to discover their substitutes and recycle the minerals because they are non-renewable once they are consumed, they can’t be created or renewed.
We have to use the minerals in a planned way so that a sizeable amount is left for the future generation as well.
