The measures to prevent water pollution are as follows:
(1) The water from the gutters of domestic uses should be disposed of far in to the river or the sea after the impurities
within them are purified in the Sewage Water Purification Plants.
(2) The polluted water used in industries should be purified first and then only it should be disposed of.
(3) The Government should impose strict control for the disposal of polluted the water
(4) There should be control on the production and consumption of substances which pollute the water.
(5) New technology should be invented to reduce or to prevent the water pollution and necessary treatment should be taken.
