Problem of Unemployment in India — Economics STD 9 — Question

To eradicate unemployment in India, following three measures can be suggested :
(i) Control on Population Growth : The problem of unemployment can be reduced, if rapid rate of population growth is slowed down.
(ii) Improvement in Education System or Spread of Job-oriented Education : The problem of unemployment can be solved by a proper modification of education system. A job-oriented education will be helpful in reducing the backlog of unemployment in India.
(iii) Accelerating Growth Rate of GDP : The problem of unemployment can be solved by increasing the growth rate of GDP to 8 to 9 per cent over the next ten years.
