Answer

Inter-Quartile Range $=\text{Q}_3-\text{Q}_1$$=72.5-36.5=36$
Qrurtile Deviation $=\frac{\text{Q}_3-\text{Q}_1}{2}$$=\frac{72.5-36.5}{2}=\frac{36}{2}=18$
Cofficient of Quartile Deviation $=\frac{\text{Q}_3-\text{Q}_1}{\text{Q}_3+\text{Q}_1}$$=\frac{72.5-36.5}{72.5+36.5}=\frac{36}{109}=0.33$

For perfectly competitive firms, the price is very much like the weather: they may complain about it, but in perfect competition there is nothing any of them can do about it. While a firm in a perfectly competitive market has no influence over its price, it does determine the output it will produce. In selecting the quantity of that output, one important consideration is the revenue the firm will gain by producing it.
