Question
What do you mean by Primary Cell?

Answer

A primary cell is that in which redox reaction occurs only once i.e., it is not rechargeable.
It means in primary cells the electrode reaction cannot be reversed by an external electrical energy source and it becomes dead over a period of time. It cannot be used again. Typical primary cells are Daniell cell, Dry cell and Mercury cell.
