What do you understand by change in origin and change in scale?

Change in Origin is a condition in which all values of a series are increased or decreased by constant value. For example, three values are given as 3, 5 and 7. Now each value is increased by 2. So, this represents change in origin.
Change in Scale is a condition when all values of a series are multiplied or divided by a constant value. For example, three values are given as 3, 5 and 7. Now each value is multiplied by 5. So, this represents change in scale.
