‘Purpose’ is another component of the Panchavayavi conjecture. The one whose direct knowledge initiates the conjecture is called 'purpose'. According to the jurists, the action of conjecture begins only if there is a real knowledge that there is a presence in the party of purpose. Thus, the purpose line has a lot of logical significance.
