All the fishes depending on their food habits feed on different parts of the pond for. Example: Silver carp is a surface feeder it feed on the surface of the pond, Rohu is a column feeder it feed on the middle portion of the pond and Common carp is a bottom feeder it feed on the bottom portion of the pond.
Advantages:
- Fishes do not compete for the food they feed on different parts of the water body.
- As five to six fishes are cultivated at the same time so it increases the fish yield.
