Jack's story about Roger Skunk could possibly have continued along the same plot line as all his other stories did. The wise owl would advised Roger Skunk to go to the wizard who would help him with his problem. Roger's problem would be solved and he would happily return home. Then all his family members would have a nice dinner and the story could have ended happily. However, Jack was in a mood to change the end and he did so and confused his daughter.
