At the tender age of nine years, Maria Sharapova was away from her father and mother.
Though her father was in the United States where she was training, he was so busy working to pay for her tennis coaching that he hardly met his daughter.
As she was young, she would go to bed by $8$ pm.
The other tennis pupils would come in by $11$ pm and wake her up and order her to tidy up the room and clean it.
Instead of getting depressed she became mentally tough and took care of herself.
She didn’t let the humiliation and insults take her away from reaching the pinnacle of success.
