When an empty bottle is dipped upside down in a bucket filled with water and tilted, bubbles start coming out of it. What is the reason behind this?

The empty bottle contains air. When the bottle is dipped upside down, the air cannot escape from the bottle and hence nothing is observed. When the bottle is tilted, water enters the bottle and air starts coming out of it in the form of bubbles. Hence, bubbles are seen coming out of the bottle.
