Baby chataka was afflicted by thirst. When its mother told about their Kulachara of drinking only the water from the cloud, baby chataka left for the pond without paying heed to mother’s advice. On the way the conversation between the dying farmer and his son brought about a great change. Baby chataka was convinced that observing Kulachara was very important. So the young bird decided to wait for the rains and obstained from drinking water from the pond.
