Cleanliness is next to godliness, people say so. It appears true. Cleanliness like god is the necessity of life. For the lucid study of cleanliness, we can classify it into four categories of physique, of psyche, of place and of environment. Let's discuss them one by one. Cleanliness of physique keeps us physically healthy. We should take bath daily. We should brush our teeth after every meal. We should keep our nails short. We should wear clean clothes. We should eat and drink healthy eatables.
Cleanliness of psyche is of supreme value. There should be purity in our thoughts and actions. Our mind is a fertile land. We should grow positive thoughts on this land. This cleanliness will keep us peaceful, merciful, loving and happy. One becomes Godly if one has this cleanliness.
Cleanliness of place makes our life better. We should keep our homes, streets, roads, offices, gardens, playgrounds, cinema halls, schools, colleges, universities etc. clean. Cleanliness of environment makes our living best. We should grow more and more trees. We should use public transport. Thus, cleanliness is significant in our life.
