DIRECTORS OF A COMPANY. — SPCC STD 12 Commerce — Question

The person who wishes to be a company director must apply to the Central Government in the prescribed application form for allotment of director's identification.

• From the date of receipt of the application, the Central Government will allocate the applicant to the Director Identity Number in one month.
• No one can apply for another director's ID.
• In one month of the allocation of this ID, or the company has to report it to the director.
• The company will notify the registrar of the company along with the prescribed fee for the identification of all its director. If not, in the prescribed time, every liable officer of the company becomes eligible for the fine.
