Question 11 Mark
Find the area of the sector of a circle of radius $6 \ cm$ whose central angle is $30^{\circ}. ($Take $\pi=3.14 )$
Answer
$r=6 \ cm$
$\theta=30^{\circ}$
$\text { Area of sector } =\frac{\theta}{360} \times \pi r^2$
$ =\frac{30^{\circ}}{360^{\circ}} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 6 \times 6$
$ =\frac{66}{7}$
$ =9.42 \ cm^2$
