Pritesh, I advise you to listen to English news on $TV$ and read English newspapers every day. This will help you to improve your vocabulary. Buy a good dictionary that will help you to know the correct spellings and pronunciation of new words and also understand their meanings. Try to speak in English as much as possible. You may request your teacher to read it and point out your mistakes.
Pritesh, I am sure you will be good in English very soon. All the best.

Draft an e-mail in about $30$ words on behalf of Nitin Pandya to his friend Venkat, in Delhi, giving him information about his successful participation in the science fair at the national level.
AnswerTo : $2017$aiyar©grnaiL corn
Subject : Science fair
Dear Venkat,
Last week, my school participated in the National Science Fair. My group had participated in ‘Force and Motion’. Ours was a very interesting experiment.
Our experiment was based on the principle of force and motion. We took a piece of thick paper and cut it into a fish shape. We cut a small hole in the centre aid placed the paper fish into the bowl filled with water. We then put a drop of dishwashing liquid into the hole.
All the visitors wondered how the paper fish floated so swiftly. We explained how the liquid spreads at the rear part. It disturbs the surface tension there and pushes the fish forward, because the surface tension in the front is not disturbed. This is based on the principle of force and motion.
We got the ‘Best Project’ award.

Nitin

First of all, if people say or do something you don’t like, they are not bad. Do not criticize them. Everyone has a right to have his opinions and ideas.
Secondly, you should remember that when something goes against you, it does not mean the whole world is against you. You must know that people or situations may not always be fine. If they are, good. If they are not, learn to face them boldly.
Lastly, make a list of your abilities and limitations. Be honest. Tell yourself how you will work on the limitations and change yourself.
I am sure you can do this. Ouly you can.

Subject :Let’s party
Hi everyone,
Great news ! Do you remember the other day we were saying someone should organize a party? Well, now’s the time! How about coming over this Saturday? We can have a party on the roof. I just need to know who’s bringing what, because I’m not much of a cook. So, let me know what you can offer. I’ll take care of the cold drinks myself. Hope that most of you can make it. Write back soon!
Vimarsh.

You have just returned from the last day at school and realized that you left your laptop in the school hail. You cannot go for it the next day because you’re leaving on a camping trip. Write an email to the Head of School about this. The school’s email address is knowledge@infor.com. You should write between $30$ and $50$ words.
AnswerTo : jagrut.pandya@ymail.com.

Subject : urgent attention required.
Respected Sir,
I am writing because this afternoon, while I was waiting for the school transport to arrive, I left my laptop in the Hall. I only remembered when the bus was already some distance away. The driver would not turn back and disrupt the whole route. Ideally, I should come to the school tomorrow to collect my belongings but I will not be able to. My family is going away on a camping trip. The laptop contains work which I need for my assessment and I’m really worried in case it goes missing. Can $1$ please ask you to tell one of the school peons to put my laptop in a safe place? I’ll come and collect it as soon as the camping trip is over.
Thank you,
Smit Chauhan.

Hi Dinesh,
I couldn’t wait to tell you all about yesterday. What a great time we had ! I really wish you could have been there. But I really should ask about you first.. .how are you? Is your cough better? I wish you will get well soon.
Sneha and I went to the Town Hall to see a drama to be performed by eminent artist from Pune. Though a comedy play, it carried an interesting social theme. We got belly ache laughing at every scene. I heard someone say they were going to organize another drama performance soon-and you’ve got to come next time!
See you on Monday and take care.
Lots of love,
Rahul.
