People of different religions, languages and castes show a spirit of love, respect, honour, loyalty, devotion, dedication and respect to their nation, and experience similar feelings of unity. This is called ‘national unity’.

Our country becomes a country of diversity in religions, languages, castes, races, economic inequalities, foods, festivals, attire, colour-complexions, residences, beliefs, customs and traditions, etc. Besides these, our country becomes a country with diversity due to its geographical factors like topography, climate, vegetation, wildlife, farming, etc.

The national anthem of our country clarifies Indian unity; integrity and sovereignty. All Indians sing the national anthem when our flag is hoisted on national festivals. In all the regions of our country, the national anthem is sung with a sweet tune and great respect. It is clear from this point that Indian unity is also expressed in our national anthem.

I am differ from the children in my class in many ways like looks, colour- complexion, hobby, interest, etc. Students in my class differ from me in many ways still they are my friends because we are equal in language, attire, food, festival, lifestyle, custom and traditions, etc.
