Bhairon Singh makes statues of brass. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. Bhairon uses two varieties of brass for different kinds of statues. Variety 1 contains copper and zinc in the ratio $8: 5$ and variety 2 contains copper and zinc in the ratio $\frac{1}{6}: \frac{1}{9}$.Bhairon uses variety 1 to make the statue of the king and variety 2 to make the statue of the queen. The weight of the statue of the king was 208 kg . The brass used in the statue of the queen contained 90 kg of zinc.

1. (a): Quantity of copper in the statue of king = 128 kg.
2. (b): Quantity of copper in the statue of queen = 60 kg.
3. (b): Total quantity of zinc in the two statues = 80 kg + 90 kg = 170 kg.
4. (d): Total quantity of copper in the two statues = 128 kg + 60 kg = 188 kg.
Total quantity of zinc in the two statues = 80 kg +90 kg = 170 kg.
$\therefore$ required ratio = 188 :170 = 94 : 85.

Answer

1. (c): Amount received by Praful from the sale of the first property = ₹ 44,00,000.
2. (d): Amount received by Atul from the sale of the second property = ₹ 36,00,000.

Total amount received by Praful = ₹ (44,00,000 + 27,00,000) = ₹71,00,000.
$\therefore$required difference = ₹ (71,00,000 – 64,00,000) = ₹7,00,000.
4. (d): Ratio of the amounts received by Atul = 28,00,000 : 36,00,000 = 7 : 9.
