Resource is a foundation for the economic growth and development of human society. Our needs can be satisfied only through resources When a human uses natural elements to satisfy his needs through his proficiency and skill it is called resource. Uulity is the characteristics of a resource.
In earlier times when man did not have the technology of digging the minerals and to refine them, the resources like iron and other metals, crude oil, atomic metals, etc were not there: but ever since man has been digging these minerals to satisfy his needs. it can be said that they have become resources. Due to the development of power technology of generating electricity through windmill wind has become an important resource in the present time. In future when the use of science and technology will be increased. it is doubtless that many natural elements become resources.

After the lake is fully filled with waste of the village, a problem would be created to clear the water accumulated in the lake in every monsoon. The water would turn towards the village instead of the lake. With the water entering the homes in the villages, people will have to face difficulty as the grain, household goods and furniture would be soaked. Cooking and its ancillary work would stop. There will be epidemic when the amount of dirty water will increase in the village. A problem of pure drinking water would occur. The nuisance of mosquitoes will increase due to the dirty water all around. There will be epidemic in the village. Villagers will fall ill. The cattle will die for want of grass. Thus, if a lake near a village is filled in, villagers will have to face many problems. The villagers will raise a hue to save them.

If the resources are exhausted. It will be difficult to maintain the current development and modern lifestyle of human society Human needs will not be satisfied All activities from agriculture to industries, will be stopped Human life would become disordered in absence of resources.

Birds control a number of insects by eating them. If the number of birds decreases. the number of insects harmful to crops in the farms increases, so the agricultural production is decreased.

When the farm is being tilled by a plough or by a tractor, many insects come out of the furrows. The birds collect in a large group behind the plough or the tractor to eat these insects.

Insects like earthworm work as natural manure in the farms. So if there are no pests in the farm. the agricultural production decreases due to the lack of manure.

There is a shortage of land to construct buildings in metropolitan cities. With the growth of the metropolitan cities, high rise buildings have to be constructed in less land So the number of high rise buildings in the metropolitan cities of the world is increasing every year.

In the Ganga plains. all favourable conditions including the water are available throughout the year. So the density of population is more there Sahara desert of Africa is too hot. Water shortage is very acute here. Thus, there are many adverse conditons for human habitation in the Sahara desert of Africa and so the density of population is very less.
