Convert $-30^{\circ} C$ into (a) Kelvin (b) ${ }^{\circ} F$
Answer
(a) Temperature in $K =$ Temperature in ${ }^{\circ} C +273$
= -30 + 273
= 243 K.
(b) Temperature in ${ }^{\circ} F =9 C / 5+32$
= 9 × (-30) /5 + 32
$=-22^{\circ} F$
