Question
Explain in a straightforward manner the truth table for determining the validity of an argument by presenting the constitution as a whole.

Answer

  • The lines in the truth table of any joint statement show the truthfulness of the statements.
  • In order to determine the validity of any argument, a factual table is formed corresponding to the statements in that argument.
  • By checking the rows of the Aadhaar statement and the result statement column in the truth table, one can know when the Aadhaar statement and the result statement are true and when they are false
  • If the result statement is true in all the rows in the column of Aadhar Vidhan and the result statement column, then the argument is standard and if there is a single row in which Aadhar Vidhan is true and the result statement is untrue, then the argument is invalid.
  • This method of determining the validity of an argument is called the direct method of truth-telling.
  • The following points are kept in mind when using the factual method of determining the validity of an argument:
  • If there is not a single line in the truth table that the base statement is true, then the argument is not disproportionate. That is, an argument that is not non-standard is standard. So such an argument is standard.
  • The resulting statement is the same in any argument. But the base statement can be one or more.
  • In an argument in which the number of Aadhaar constitutions is more than one, instead of treating the Aadhaar statements separately from each other, an Aadhaar statement is made by combining all the Aadhaar statements with ‘and’ $($aggregate$)$ and presenting a collective statement.
  • If the argument is given in the language of ordinary commerce, it must first be presented in its symbolic language in order to take shape.
