In the poem 'सुभाषित मधुबिन्दवः' the poet has described a peculiarity of gentlemen that the words spoken by gentlemen, can not be reversed. The words spoken by them are always stable (permanent), true and fair. Whatever promise they make, they fulfill it. We never see any change in the words, behavior and attitude of the gentlemen. If there is any sort of instability, untruth or injustice, then people will lose their trust from them. Lord Rama is the greatest example. He fulfilled king Dashrath's promise, such as 14 years exile to Rama, and throne of Ayodhya to Bharat. That is why, it is said that:
"रघुकुल रीत सदा चली आई,
अरु प्राण, जाय पर वचन जाय ।"
