Cultural heritage is a man-made heritage which is either received or created by human beings with tact, wisdom, art and skill.→ Our cultural heritage includes palaces, buildings. stupas, viharas, chattyas, temples, mosques. tombs, forts, victory gates excavated archeological places and sculptures.
$→$Historical places in our freedom movement like Sabarmati Ashram as well as places like Dandi. Vardha. Bardoli, Shantiniketan $($Kolkata$)$ and Delhi are also part of our cultural heritage.
$→$ Besides these structures, languages, scripts, literature, discovery of zero, other scientific discoveries, religions, scholarly works in the different subjects are included in the cultural heritage.
$→$The art of architecture and sculpture goes back $5000$ years to the Indus Valley Civilization. The remains of figurines of Gods and Goddesses, human beings and animals, the toys, the sculpture of bearded man and the bronze statue of dancing girl make us proud.
$→ $We witness that the art of sculpture further developed during the Maurya and Gupta period The figure of bullock or lion on an inverted Lotus, statues of Buddha and Jain tirthankars belong to this period. The Ellora cave sculpture belongs to the Rashtrakuta period.
$→$Due to exchange between various castes and tribes that infiltrated to India since ancient times, the cultural heritage of India has become diverse and rich.
