✓
Answer
After Samudragupta's death, his eldest son Ramagupta came to power.
He was not a valiant or skilled prince like his father.
He lost both the state and the soul.
The play "Devichandraguptam" written by Visakhadatta and some coins and inscriptions give information about the short rule of Ramagupta.
The Saka kings invaded Ramagupta's kingdom in the years following his accession to the throne.
At the request of Rani Dhruvaswamini, the queen of Ramagupta, her beloved Chandragupta went to the camp of Saka Rajvi with the second bodyguards and killed Saka Raja.
Pleased with his feat, the queen accepted him as lord and the people accepted him as king.
After that Ramagupta was killed and Chandragupta Dwitya carried the slogans of power.
Considering this historical story, after the death of Samudragupta, Chandragupta came to power in the second place, in the intervening five years, Ramagupta came to power.
