Question
Indrasan and Nindrasan.

Answer

In his poem 'प्रणमामि मुदा', the poet Bhagavatiprasad has used these words. Here, goddess Sharda is worshipped. Even, the lord of gods, Indra too salutes goddess Sharda.
Once Kumbhakarna desired to attain Indrasan. So he started observing penance to please Lord Brahma The severe penance of Kumbhakarna pleased Lord Brahma. Hearing about it, Lord Indra was worried. He became restless thinking about the miserable condition that could occur if Indrasan is handed over to Kumbhakarna. He worshipped goddess Sharda. She was pleased and promised Indra to protect Indrasan On the other side, at the time of demanding throne of Indra, goddess Sharda sat on Kumbhakarna's tongue and made him speak Nindrasan instead of Indrasan. As a result, Kumbhakarna got Nindrasan instead of Indrasan. Thus, he remained asleep constantly. His entire penance failed due to goddess Sharda.
In short, If we please Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh and many other gods and goddesses, but if we do not please goddess Sharda, then we can not get desired result. The lord of gods, Indra himself is full of divinity and most powerful god, but he too had to worship goddess Sharda. Let's also worship her for the attainment of knowledge.
