State the characteristics of the family.

A family is a social group whose members are connected to each other through reproductive processes.
Based on the definitions of the family, the universal characteristics of the family can be described as follows.
$(1)$ Sexual relations between a man and a woman:
Marriage is an accepted family practice.
The family is formed to fulfill the three main objectives of marriage, fulfillment of sexual desires of a man and a woman, procreation and care and upbringing of children through coexistence.
$(2)$ Marriage practice:
Marriage is the first step in the formation of a family.
Marriage is considered essential for sexual relations between men and women to become socially acceptable.
The form of marriage varies according to the time and changing cultural values considering the diversity of societies.
In every society, marriage is a family affair.
$(3)$ Cohabitation:
Husband and wife cohabitation begins after marriage.
The newlyweds live together in the same house.
The newlyweds have three choices about where to start their life.
$(A)$ Patriarchal:
In the patriarchal family, the young woman leaves her pier after marriage and goes to the in-laws' house to live with her husband.
$(B)$ Maternal:
In the maternal family coexistence, the young lady stays with the mother in her piper after marriage.
When her husband leaves her parents' house and goes to live with the girl.
$(C)$ New Local:
In the new local symbiosis, the newlyweds leave their respective parents' homes and set up a separate new home for themselves.
$(4)$ Genealogy:
Each family has its own genealogy.
The relationship between the ancestors and descendants of this genealogical family is understandable.
This genealogy includes only children born as a result of a socially accepted marriage.
In a patriarchal family, the lineage is counted by the father's name and in a matriarchal family the offspring is counted by the mother's name.
At present, the names of both mother and father can be added to the name of the child.
$(5)$ Economic Participation:
The responsibility for the children born after marriage, such as their upbringing and upbringing, rests with the head of the family.
Participation in the family economy is an important part of the family.
The family arranges for someone to meet the needs of the family members.
If the family does not take responsibility, the question of maintenance of new born children becomes complicated.
Nowadays women also engage in economic activities and give their financial contribution to the family.
