Twenty (20) important nations are its members, including the European Union, America, Russia, Britain, China, Australia, France, India, Brazil, Japan, and Germany.
That is why it is known as the International Organization of the Twenty Nations and the G-20.
The first G-20 summit was held in 2008 in Washington (DC).
The annual summit of the scheme was held in 2015 in Turkey.
The G-20 Summit will study, review and hold high-level discussions on important economic and monetary policy issues.
